With 403 new cases, COVID-19 tally reached 2,66,546
Kathmandu, Jan 14 : The national count has reached , with 403 new cases of the novel coronavirus confirmed on Thursday.
A total of 403 persons were found infected with SARS-CoV-2 in 5,032 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Similarly, there are 4,426 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. A total of 405 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 2,60,177 cases of recoveries and the recovery rate stands at 97.6 per cent.
Six people have succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,943. A total of 231 persons are in quarantine.
