Two major earthquakes strike Indonesia in 24 hours

Kathmandu, January 16. A deadly 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia on Friday morning.
According to media reports, at least 42 people have died and more than 600 people are injured.
The epicentre of the quake was 18 kilometres below the Sulawesi Island, 6 kilometres from the Majane city.
Considering the possibilities of strong aftershocks, thousands of people are shifted to temporary shelters.
Earlier on Thursday, a 5.9 magnitude earthquake had shaken the same land but no casualties were recorded.
