322 new COVID-19 cases have been found in 24 hours
Kathmandu, Jan 18 : The national count has reached 267,644, with 322 new cases of the novel coronavirus confirmed on Monday.
A total of 322 persons were found infected with SARS-CoV-2 in 4,306 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Similarly, there are 3,861 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation. A total of 374 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. Nepal has now recorded 261,818 cases of recoveries and the recovery rate is at 97.8 per cent.
Six people have succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours and with this, the national COVID-19 related death tally has reached 1,965. A total of 221 persons are in quarantine.
