Side effects of COVID-19 vaccine seen in India, three people admitted
Kathmandu, January 18. The vaccination drive in India had started recently. But slowly the side effects of the vaccination are being seen. People have been complaining of headache, fever and itching.
The Indian Health Ministry said in a press conference that a total of 447 people reported side effects on January 16 and 17. The side effects are seen only in some parts of India.
According to Dr. Manohar Agnani, Union Health Secretary, most of the side effects were of normal level. He added, “If someone is hospitalized after being vaccinated, then that is a serious incident”.
Three people have been hospitalized after being vaccinated against covid so far. One of the three was admitted to Northern Railway Hospital, while the other two were admitted to AIIMS Hospital located in Delhi and Rishikesh. The health condition of all three are said to be normal.
