FBI arrests Capital rioter, 22, accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi’s laptop to “sell it to Russian spies’
Kathmandu, January 19 : The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Monday arrested 22-year -old Riley June Williams of Harrisburg Central, Pennsylvania for stealing a computer device from the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and attempting to sell it to the Russian spies.
The Department of Justice informed that it is currently unclear specifically where she was detained and whether or not she handed herself in to authorities.
Federal documents stated that Williams was on video directing rioters up a flight of stairs inside the legislature towards Pelosi’s office, DailyMail reports.
Similarly, William’s arrest comes just one day after she was charged with entering a restricted building, violent entry, and disorderly conduct for rioting inside the Capitol on January 6.
Before being detained, Williams rushed to the apartment she shared with her mother, frantically packing a bag and telling her she’d return ‘in a few weeks’ without disclosing where she was heading.
Along with that the care worker is also being probed by the FBI over allegations, however she has not yet been charged in the matter.
