Nepal Airlines will fly to Malaysia to bring 17 Nepali corpses
Kathmandu, January 22. A flight of Nepal Airlines Cooperation (NAC) will leave Kathmandu for Malaysia to bring the body of the Nepali. Airlines is about to take off from Tribhuvan International Airport to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on today (Friday) at 11 pm today (Friday), to bring back home 17 Nepali worker’s dead bodies from Malaysia to Nepal at a time.
Nepalese who went to work in Malaysia died due to various reasons and were stranded there. Airlines carrying the body from Kuala Lumpur will land in Kathmandu at 8:40 am on Saturday.
According to Karishma Shrestha, spokesperson for the NAC, said that the aircraft of the NAC is trying to bring the body of the nepali for the sake of family of the deceased rather than profit. She said, “As the national flag bearer of the corporation, we should not only look at the profits or benefits, we must and are equally responsible and committed to serving citizens and carrying out social responsibility.”
The NAC has been operating regular wide-body flights to Kuala Lumpur and is going to use a narrow body aircraft to bring the body of a Nepali worker. The wide-body aircraft has the capacity to carry 18 corpses.
The NAC aircraft had also brought the body of a Nepali from Afghanistan two years ago, and the cooperation played a key role in rescuing and bringing COVID-19’s medicinal supplies, even as international flights were banned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The NAC has been operating international flights to nine destinations in seven countries, including three in India, with two narrow-body A320s and two wide body A330s.
