Joe Biden stops his motorcade to buy bagels
Kathmandu, January 25. After swearing-in as the 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden and his family had a visit to the neighbourhood church Holy Trinity Catholic Church, George.
While returning back from the church, President Biden stops his motorcade for his 50-year-old son “Hunter” to pick up an order of “bagels” from a bakery.
Tom Lynch from NBC tweeted that Biden didn’t step out of his vehicle, but he waved to the cheering mass of onlookers.
The White House press department did not reveal the order at the bakery, but media reports suggest that the order was “sesame bagels with cream cheese”.
Independent writes that it is not unusual for a president and high personalities to go for a food hunt. Former presidents including George W Bush, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton were at times spotted in the neighbourhood eateries. However, Donald Trump was rarely seen outside his own hotels and properties.
