Kathmandu, January 30. The newly appointed Prime Minister of Mongolia, Luvsan Namsrai Oyun-Erdene was sworn in on Friday night in a formal ceremony held at the parliament.

The new government led by PM Oyun-Erdene announced that it will develop a comprehensive plan to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, and start vaccinating the people within its first 100 days. 

“The government will work to recover the economy, create a new national system to achieve a middle-class lifestyle, and build a law-based society in the country”, said PM Oyun-Erdene.

Earlier this week, Oyun-Erdene’s appointment was approved by a vote of 87.9 per cent in the country’s 76-seat unicameral parliament.
