Mukesh Ambani plans to set up “World’s Largest Zoo” in India

Kathmandu, February 20. The Reliance Group of India led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani is building the world’s largest zoo in the Indian state of Gujarat. 

Greens Zoological Rescue and Rehabilitation Kingdom” will spread over 250 acres of land in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The zoo will house a large number of animal species from all over the world, including Komodo Dragon, African Lion and Malayan Tapir. 

Media reports suggest that the Detailed Project Report(DPR) of the mega project was recently approved by the Indian Central Zoo authority in February. According to the master layout, the world’s largest animal kingdom will have nine sections.

Earlier last month, the Guwahati Zoo sent two black panthers to the Greens Zoological Rescue hoping that the Reliance-run zoo will help them import Zebras from Israel.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaire’ Index, Mukesh Ambani’s current net worth is about $80 billion. His empire is engaged in the businesses of energy, petrochemicals, textiles, natural resources, retail, and telecommunications.
