China predicts to increase its GDP by 6% in 2021
Kathmandu, March 5. China has set the target to increase their GDP by 6% in the year 2021. Being one of the largest economies in the world, China’s GDP expanded by 2.3% last year due to the covid pandemic.
China’s defense budget has crossed the $200 billion mark for the first time. China is said to improve defense-related science, technology and industry.
At the inaugural session of China’s parliament, Premier Li Keqiang said,”Its entire rural poor population, 55.75 million in number, was lifted out of extreme poverty. Over 60 million urban jobs were added, and the world’s largest social security system was established.”
Li also spoke upon the issues of Taiwan and HongKong and that China will always look forward to maintain and develop relation between China and those regions.
