Tesla in talks with Tata Power to set up infrastructure for charging electric vehicles

Kathmandu, March 13. Tesla is said to be in talks with Tata Power to set up infrastructure to charge electric vehicles in India.

As shares of Tata Power rose in the recent times, they have constantly been searching for growth opportunities.

According to a report from Reuters, it is said that an electric car manufacturing unit will be set up at South-Indian state of Karnataka.

The US electric-car maker incorporated Tesla Motors India and Energy Private Ltd as its registered offices in Bengaluru in January.

The talks between Tesla and Tata Power are said to be in the initial stages and nothing has been finalized yet.
