Educational institutions closed for four days owing to increased pollution levels

Kathmandu, March 29. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has made a decision for all schools and educational institutions to be closed for four days starting tomorrow. The ministry has made such a decision due the increased air pollution levels and the danger that they pose on children’s health.

The air quality levels have significantly decreased since the past few days in Kathmandu. Wildfires in other parts of the country have been blamed for the massive change in air quality.

Many people have complained of many health problems including burning eyes and itchy throat.

Last week, domestic and international flights was also affected due to poor visibility.
