Gaurika Singh makes it to the list of ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ for the year 2021

Kathmandu, April 20. Nepali swimmer Gaurika Singh has been enlisted into this year’s list of ‘Forbes 30 under 30’. She has been enlisted in the Asia section under category ‘Sports and Entertainment’.
Gaurika started swimming since she was 9 and started competing for Nepal from the age of 12.
She won four golds, two silvers, and three bronzes at the 2019 South Asian Games and was the youngest athlete at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
She was also selected for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, which has now been postponed to July-August 2021.
Aside from swimming, she is involved in charity work and is a goodwill ambassador for nonprofit organizations including Maiti Nepal and Shanti Education Initiative.
