China’s First Space Station
Earlier in February, China’s Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation(CASC) announced that China will conduct at least 40 space launches by the end of this year.
Out of 40 launches, 11 missions will be to build China’s first space station. China has planned to operate the space station by 2022. The central parts of the station are being sent via cargo spaceships including Tianzhou-2.
Last year, China carried out 39 space launches and sent 89 spacecraft into space.
