Bahraini Prince Khalifa meets Health Minister Tripathi
Kathmandu, May 25. Bahrain, Prince Sheikh Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Al-Khalifa met Health Minister Hridayesh Tripathi on Monday after a successful ascent of the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Health and Population, Minister Tripathi congratulated Prince Khalifa. The health minister also said that the vaccine which was brought from Bahrain by Prince Khalifa had been used, Khalifa said.
Talking to DCnepal, the Prince said, “I had a meeting with the Health Minister. He congratulated us for scaling Mt.Everest successfully and said that the vaccine we had brought had been approved and used in Samagau village as well as other villages too.”
On May 11 between 6:45 am (Nepal Time) Prince Al-Khalifa and Bahrain Royal Guards successfully scaled Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest). Prince Khalifa and his team is the first International team to climb the new altitude (8848.86m) Everest.

The Bahraini Royal Guard team was formed three years ago, with a mission to reach the world’s highest peak, Sagarmatha. The team, including Bahrain Prince, arrived here in September 2020. In the following month, they had successfully scaled Lobuche peak (6,619m) and Mt. Manaslu (8,156m) the world’s eight highest in preparation to summit Mt. Everest.
