Kathmandu, June 16. On Wednesday morning, ten people were killed after their car collided with a truck traveling in the opposite lane in Indranaj village of Gujarat’s Anand district.
Local police informed that the collision occurred on a state highway linking Anand Ahmedabad districts.
“The car in which 10 persons, including a child, were traveling, was hit by the speeding truck. All the 10 occupants of the car were killed on the spot,” a police officer told PTI.
Efforts were on to get the bodies out of the mangled remains of the car and identify the deceased, the official added.
