Kashmir: Top militant commander killed in overnight encounter

Kathmandu, June 21. Kashmir Police on Monday confirmed that most wanted terrorist commander Mudasir Pandit and two other militants were killed during an encounter on Sunday night.
The overnight encounter took place in Sopore of India controlled northern Kashmir. Dead bodies of the three militants were recovered during a post-encounter search operation. Forces are constantly searching for other militants in the area.
Mudasir Pandit is a key suspect in many cases, including the killing of two BJP councilors and a policeman in March.
