Indian Army Chief Naravane on a four-day visit to UK and Italy
Kathmandu, July 4. Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane left India on Sunday for a tour to the United Kingdom and Italy.
The Chief will be meeting his counterparts and senior military leaders of the two countries. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen the bilateral ties between the military of the two countries and the Indian Army.
According to the official release, In the first half of the visit from July 4 to 6, Chief Naravane will hold talks with the UK’s Secretary of State for Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of General Staff and other dignitaries. He will also visit various army formations and exchange ideas of mutual interest.
On July 7 and 8, the Indian chief will hold talks with the Italian Chief of Defence Staff and army officials. Chief Naravane will also inaugurate the Indian Army Memorial at the Italian town of Cassino.
