Kathmandu begins vaccinating seniors citizens with second dose of “Vero Cell”

Kathmandu, July 6. The Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation(KMC) has identified 12 locations where the second dosage of the Vero Cell vaccine would be administered.
Senior persons aged 60 to 64 who have previously received the first dosage of the vaccine will receive the second dose on July 7 and 8.
The vaccination drive will be conducted between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm at the following sites:
- Bir Hospital
- Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital
- Civil Hospital
- Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital
- Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital
- Nepal Police Hospital
- Birendra Sainik Hospital
- Shankarapur Hospital
- Himal Hospital
- Om Hospital and Research Centre
- Chhatrapati Free Clinic
- Janamaitri Hospital
Hari Bahadur Kunwar, Chief of the KMC Urban Health Department, said the concerned recipients can go to any of the immunization facilities that they are comfortable with.
KMC also urged the receivers to bring their first dose “vaccination cards” while visiting the vaccine centres.
