101-year-old UK man receives 700 birthday cards from strangers

Kathmandu, Aug 17. A man from UK named Jack Annall has received 700 birthday cards from strangers for his birthday. He lives in a care home in West Yorkshire, UK.
As her daughter could not visit her from Australia due to covid restrictions, the care home staff urged strangers to send cards for Annall. Since then, the care home has been receiving a large number of cards each day.
The care home manager Vicky Gudgin also revealed that she decided to take help from the community but wasn’t expecting such a response.
Annall, who is an ex-RAF officer is set to celebrate his birthday on August 19. He has also received a birthday card from Queen Elizabeth as well, according to BBC.
The video has gone viral on social media.
