Nurse who witnessed Rahul Gandhi’s birth gets emotional on meeting him
Kathmandu, Aug 19. Rajamma Vavathil was a nurse at Delhi’s Holy Family Hospital, when Rahul was born in 1970. Recently, while Rahul was on a visit to Kerala, he met the nurse and the video has garnered a lot of attention.
In the video, Rajamma meets Rahul and is overjoyed on seeing him. She gifts him a packet of sweets as well. Rahul, who is seated in his car, listens to her with gratitude. She says to her son while introducing him to Rahul, “He was born in front of me. So, before you could see him, I saw him. That position, I will not give to anybody.”
She also asks to convey her regards to his mother, asking about Sonia Gandhi. She further says, “You are my son. God bless you”.
The video has garnered 26.6k views as it was shared from the Twitter handle of Congress Kerala.
