Kathmandu re-launches “Vero Cell” drive for people above 40
Kathmandu, August 20. The Kathmandu Metropolitan Corporation has re-launched the COVID-19 vaccination drive for the remaining people above 40 years of age.
Under the three-day campaign that started today, eight more vaccination centers have been added, said Hari Bahadur Kunwar, chief of the urban health department, KMC.
The targeted population residing in all 32 wards, can get their first dose of Vero Cell vaccine on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday(August 24) between 10 am to 5 pm.
The receivers must carry their national identity cards like citizenship certificate, passport or driving license. For the service or those lacking the documents, they need to get a recommendation from the respective ward offices.
Students who have recently appeared or are about to take grade 11, 12, or university level examinations can also get one Vero Cell vaccination shot by showing the admit card at the vaccination centers.

- Bir Hospital
- Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital
- Civil Service Hospital
- Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital
- Nepal Police Hospital
- Birendra Military Hospital
