Farmer calls police when his buffalo refused milking
Kathmandu, November 14. A farmer in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh went to a police station with a complaint that his buffalo “refused to milking” for reasons he believed were related to witchcraft.
The incident that occurred in Nayagaon village of Bhind district, has been generating waves across social media communities.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Arvind Shah told reporters that 45-year-old Babulal Jatav wanted to file a formal complaint because his neighbors told him that the buffalo was under the influence of black magic or witchcraft.
The police officers initially suggested Babulal to see a veterinarian. Babulal, on the other hand, did not leave the station. After feeling neglected for four hours, Babulal goes home and returns to the station with his buffalo.
After several hours of informal counseling, Babulal finally agreed to go back home.
On Sunday morning, the 45-year-old visited the station and informed the officials that his buffalo agreed to be milked.
