Bharatpur National City Hospital reaches final stage of renovation

Kathmandu, December 4. The National City Hospital in Bharatpur is nearing the completion of its renovation.

The hospital, which currently has 55 beds, will be expanded to 100 beds. According to hospital manager Bikram Adhikari, the construction of a seven-story building for the hospital has entered its final stage.

The Ministry of Building and Urban Development has given authorization for the construction of the building, which will adhere to the Ministry of Health’s building requirements. “The project’s cost is expected to reach Rs 1.5 billion. The hospital will be well-equipped and serve as a model for the surrounding area “Adhikari asserted.

The project has a total of 200 investors. According to hospital operator Saroj Dhakal, the hospital building, which spans 12 kattha of land, has a capacity of 200 beds. He stated that the hospital will provide a wide range of services, including specialization.
