Kathmandu, December 5. After defeating Kamal Thapa in the Saturday election, Rajendra Lingden was elected Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
According to RPP leader Rajaram Shrestha, Lingden received 1,817 votes while his opponent Thapa received 1,617 votes in Saturday’s election.
A total of 531 votes that were ruled invalid.
