Nearly Half of the Sudurpaschhim population vaccinated against COVID-19

Kathmandu, December 15. The government of Sudurpaschhim province has announced that 42 per cent of its population has received vaccine shots against coronavirus infection.
According to the official database, more than 7 lakh 21 thousand people have received both(full) doses of anti-covid vaccines. Whereas, 9 lakh 6 thousand people have received the first dose and are waiting for the second(final) dose.
The province is currently focused on supplying all of its adult population which accounts for nearly 19 lakh people above 18 years of age.
Sudurpaschhim’s Spokesperson Social Development told reporters that the government is also making preparations to inoculate its children with Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
