Kathmandu, December 15. Nepal’s Supreme Court on Wednesday announced to introduce the “lottery system” from January 16.
A high-level meeting of the court officials decided that all of the high courts and district courts will be implementing a lottery system to determine hearing dates. The meeting also brought changes to the problematic hearing date management systems in courts.
The apex court administration has been instructed to present a new draft of “regulation and directive” with the latest amendments.
