Nepal Police deploys a team to investigate the “Sarlahi Road Accident”

Kathmandu, December 31. The death of a man in a road accident in the district’s Ishworpur Municipality-7 has prompted the formation of a five-member committee led by Superintendent of Police Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal.

Ram Kumar Mahato, a resident of Lalbandi, was killed five days ago when a motorcycle and a police van collided at the Municipality.

According to Chief District Officer Thaneshwor Gautam, a ban order has been extended until this evening because of the event.

The family of the deceased arrived at the hospital on Wednesday to receive his mortal remains, the officials confirmed that the family changed their minds upon arrival at the hospital and refused to receive the deceased’s remains until their six-point demand was met.

The police headquarter has asked the newly formed investigative committee to provide a report as quickly as possible.
