Kathmandu, January 4. Brigadier General Narayan Silwal has been appointed as the Nepali Army’s spokesperson.
According to the official announcement, Silwal will formally take up his office in the second week of January.
Silwal is currently serving as commander-in-charge of the Nepali Army’s Number one Brigade in Balaju of Kathmandu.
The current spokesperson Brigadier General Santosh Ballabh Poudel has been reassigned to the Directorate of Peace Operations.
