Kathmandu, January 30. At least 13 people were killed and 10 others sustained serious injuries when a passenger van crashed on a highway in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
The local Fire Department confirmed that the accident took place on Saturday at kilometer 35 of the Leon-Aguascalientes highway. The passenger van, which was transporting tourists, abruptly overturned at high speed.
“The tragedy killed eight males and four females, two of whom were kids,” the department confirmed.
The department also urged the public to drive cautiously until the investigation ends.
