Kathmandu, February 3. The Government of Nepal on Thursday named Krishna Bahadur Karki as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
The Finance Ministry informed reporters that the meeting of the cabinet on Monday decided upon the four-year term of Karki in the government’s stock monitoring organ.
The position had remained vacant for nearly six months following the resignation of the then-CEO, Chandra Singh Saud in August last year.
Karki holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and public administration.
