We are preparing three bills to reform the entire teaching-learning system: Education Minister
Kathmandu, February 6. Nepali Education Minister Devendra Poudel on Sunday announced that the ministry has launched a new 55-point plan with the aim to reform the education system of the country.
While speaking at an official meeting in Baglung, Poudel said that the plan will address the common issues faced by students, teachers and educational administrations. He also announced that the ministry also has a plan to recruit 18,000 teachers under various quotas.
“We are also focussing on the career development of teachers across the country,” Poudel noted.
Meanwhile, the ministry is preparing three bills on federal education, university education, and technical education. The bills will soon be presented for parliamentary review. “Once these bills are passed, they would pave the way for reforming the entire education system,” Poudel said.
