Kathmandu, February 9. The Nagma-Gamgadhi road division office reported on Wednesday that the heavy snowfall over the last five days has obstructed the road segment severely.
The route linking Bota of Jumla and Pina of Mugu has collected two-foot-thick snow slabs. The office indicated that “road traffic might be restored within two days with the onset of sunshine.”
The Office currently sees no chance of the route reopening anytime soon. “The villagers of Jumla and Mugu have been adversely affected by the roadblock.”
Media reports suggest that the Jumla-Urthu-Patamara-Nyaurighat-Bulbule road serves as the shortest route to Mugu.
