Along with Russian military attacks, cyberattacks also enter Ukraine
Kathmandu, February 26. In addition to the military attacks by Russia, Ukrainian government and other organizational websites have been targeted by hackers.
Researchers have revealed that the preparation for the cyberattack were done as early as three months back.
The distributed-denial-of-service(DDoS) attacks had some success with government websites being down, but websites of some banks were still reachable on Thursday.
Major Russian websites also were under DDoS attacks on Thursday. The websites of the Russian military and Kremlin were also down.
Ukraine’s cybersecurity agency also said that their cellular networks have been overloaded with voice calls. People unable to complete it were asked to use text messaging.
US and allies have blamed Russia’s GRU military intelligence agency for the cyberattacks.
