Kathmandu, March 7. China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday has said that the Chinese Red Cross will be providing Ukraine with aid. He also added that China’s ties with Russia are “rock solid”.
While China has refused to condemn Russian attacks on Ukraine, Wang said that the situation in Ukraine was complex. He used a Chinese expression that said “three feet of ice does not form in a single day“.
He also added that China is in talks with all sides regarding the war.
The Chinese Red Cross will be providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine as soon as possible. Wang said humanitarian issues must not be politicized.
