Minister Karki and American Ambassador Berry meet
Kathmandu, March 9: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, and American Ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry, held a courtesy meeting on Wednesday.
According to Minister Karki’s Secretariat, the two discussed on various issues of mutual interest. The meeting was conducted at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
Minister Karki, who is also the government Spokesperson, extended gratitude to the USA for its long-term support in Nepal’s economic development and infrastructure sector. He added that Nepal expected continuation of such support in future as well.
On the occasion, American envoy Berry said that Nepal and United States have maintained cordial relations since the establishment of friendly relations between the two countries.
He said that the USA prioritized Nepal and had been extending its support in various sectors.
