Gabriel Boric becomes youngest president of Chile

Kathmandu, March 12. Gabriel Boric Font, a 36-year-old leftist politician has been inaugurated as the Chile’s youngest politician. He was sworn in along with his cabinet during a ceremony on Friday.
Boric is a former student leader. He is a legal and social sciences graduate from the University of Chile.
He said,”I am deeply proud of this cabinet, deeply proud that there are more women than men, thanks to the feminist movement. Let us never, never forget that we are indebted every day to the people of Chile”
His cabinet is diverse including feminists, environmentalists and youths. He is also the biggest vote-getter for a president in Chilean history.
He will be the youngest to hold office from 2022-2026.
