Kathmandu, March 16. An earthquake of magnitude 7.3 has hit the coast of Fukushima in northern Japan on Wednesday evening.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the earthquake struck 60 kilometers below the sea. Tsunami alerts have been issued in the area.
There are no immediate reports of casualties.
