Kathmandu, March 18. The Punjab government is set to launch an anti-corruption helpline. Punjab Chief Minister(CM) Bhagwant Mann announced the decision on March 17, a day after he was sworn in.
The anti-corruption helpline is said to be launched on March 23, on the day of martyrdom of Bhagat Singh.
Mann revealed that the helpline will be his personal WhatsApp number. Furthermore, he also revealed that he aimed to support honest officers. He said that if 99 percent officers are honest, it is the remaining one percent that disturbs the system.
Mann has tweeted that people can record videos and directly send it to him; action will be taken against the corrupt.
