Kathmandu, March 25. Around 300 people are feared dead after Russia attacked a theatre at Mariupol, Ukraine on Friday.

When the theatre was bombed, an enormous Russian inscription reading “CHILDREN” was reportedly posted outside, intended to be seen from the sky.

According to officials more than a thousand people were taking shelter in the theatre, that included children.

Mariupol is currently cut off from the rest of the Ukraine and is low on supplies.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged citizens to “move toward peace, move forward” in his video address on Thursday. He also urged the military and defense not to stop “even for a minute”.
