China demands “immediate cancellation” of Pelosi’s Taiwan visit plan

Kathmandu, April 7. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Thursday that US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi must cancel her visit to Taiwan immediately.
China has warned to take strict measures if Pelosi continued her plan to visit China.
Zhao has stressed that if the plan materializes, it will violate the one-China policy and three China-U.S. Joint Communiques. He added that Taiwan is an innate part of China and will resolve internal matters on their own; without any foreign interference.
