UK PM Boris Johnson in India for two-day visit

Kathmandu, April 21. Prime Minister of United Kingdom (UK) Boris Johnson is on a two-day visit to India. He was received in Ahmedabad airport on Thursday by State Governor Acharya Devvrat and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel.
Johnson met industrialist Gautam Adani on Thursday to discuss climate and technology. Additionally, discussions also included those of strengthening business ties and collaborations.
He also visited a factory of British equipment manufacturer JCB. He is further scheduled to visit New Delhi and meet PM Modi.
Further, his visit is expected to strengthen defense ties and promote Free Trade Agreements(FTA) between the two countries. Co-operation in the Indo-Pacific will also be an agenda for discussion.
