Kathmandu, April 22. Russia imposed personal sanctions on 29 US citizens and 61 Canadian citizens on Thursday. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the ‘stop list’ is Russia’s response to the anti-Russia sanctions imposed by the Biden administration.

The personal sanction list includes US leaders, journalists and high profile officials. Further, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg are also included in the list.

The people enlisted will be denied entry into Russia for an indefinite term. Additionally, the list of Canadian citizens include defense, media and government officials.

Moreover, the ‘stop list’ is said to increase the enlisting process in future, in response to hostile actions by the US and Canada.
