Kathmandu, April 23. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is scheduled to visit Russia and Ukraine next week.
A UN spokesperson said on Friday, Guterres will meet Russian President Putin on April 26 and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy on April 28.
He is also scheduled to meet Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba. Further, he will also be meeting UN officials to discuss the stepping up of humanitarian aid.
Guterres has sent letters to the permanent missions of Russia and Ukraine to the UN, asking the countries’ presidents to receive him.
