Nepal Airlines to fly to Japan three times a week
Kathmandu, April 26. Nepal Airlines Corporation on Tuesday announced that it will operate three flights per week from Kathmandu to Narita (Japan) from May 1.
Currently, two flights are conducted in a week to Narita. Addressing the post-covid increase in demands, the airliner planned to launch one more flight to Narita.
The National flag carrier will conduct flights on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. “The flight on Tuesday and Wednesday will carry 140 passengers, while the flight on Friday will carry only 120 passengers,” the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal said in a statement.
As per the official notice, the airfare for an economy class ticket is fixed at NPR 1,19,000 (tax included). Similarly, the business class ticket will cost NPR 1,52,000 (tax included). “The government will take strict action against those who are found selling tickets at higher prices”.
