Bill Gates, Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif discuss programs in Pakistan
Kathmandu, April 27. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Bill Gates discussed social and public health sector programs through a telephone call.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Sharif highlighted that Pakistan deeply values its cooperation with the Gates Foundation. The telephone call included matters of polio eradication, improving immunization, nutrition and financial inclusion services, revealed the statement by the office on Tuesday night.
Furthermore, while Sharif reaffirmed his commitment to eradicate polio in the country with the help of Gate Foundation, Gates appreciated the progress that Pakistan made and reiterated his foundation’s support.
Moreover, the Pakistani PM and Gates also exchanged views on Pakistan’s progress on the covid vaccination drive.
