Kathmandu, May 1. A tiger assault in eastern Chitwan claimed the life of a 65-year-old man today Sunday morning.
According to the District Police Office, Narayan Dahal of Khairhani municipality was on his way to collect fodder from Kumroj Buffer Zone in the National Park.
‘At around 8:00 am, Dahal was attacked by a Tiger. Two hours later, Dahal’s dead body was retrieved nearly one kilometer away from the incident site,’ An information officer at the DPO, Narhari Adhikari, told reporters.
