Indian PM Modi to arrive in Nepal on Monday

Kathmandu, May 15. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Nepal on Monday. He is visiting Nepal on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti.

Further, an 11 member delegation will be arriving along with Modi. The delegation includes India’s national security advisor Ajit Doval, foreign secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, joint-secretary Arindam Bagchi among others.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, his spouse Arzu Rana Deuba along with Lumbini Province Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC, and Chargé d’ affaires Mrs. Namgya C. Khampa of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and members from Council of Ministers will be welcoming Modi.

The Prime Ministers of two neighboring countries will hold delegation-level talks on Monday itself.

Indian PM Modi and his delegation will arrive at 11:00 am on Monday. PM Deuba extended an invitation to his counterpart for an official visit.
