Ambassador Yanqi calls on Minister Khand

Kathmandu, May 18. Ambassador of China to Nepal Hou Yanqi called on Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand on Wednesday.
The meeting was held at Minister Khand’s office. Yanqi and Khand addressed Nepal-China bilateral relations, along with cooperation between the two countries.
Furthermore, Minister Khand expressed gratitude towards China for their continued assistance towards Nepal and expected it to continue in coming days as well.
Moreover, Ambassador Yanqi informed Minister Khand that a direct flight would begin between Kunming and Kathmandu from May 30. She further applauded the Nepali people for taking part in the local elections with enthusiasm; as she had visited election sites for observation.
