Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and Turkish counterpart Erdogan agree to restore peace in Ukraine

Kathmandu, May 31. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday to restore peace in Ukraine.
Zelensky tweeted, “Unanimously agree on the need to restore peace. We appreciate Turkey’s help in this process.”
They discussed on food security, unblocking of ports and cooperation in security. According to a statement issued by Erdogan’s office, Turkey attached importance to the project of creating a safe corridor for the export of Ukraine’s agricultural products by sea. The Turkish president further added that they were ready to mediate between Ukraine and Russia.
Earlier, Erdogan held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the same day.
